Do you believe that a Christian should have a T. V.?
On the table side by side, The Holy Bible and the TV
It is not so much whether they should have it, as it having
them. I am afraid that in most cases this is the way it is. I
know of nothing that can damage your spiritual life more than
David said, "I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes. I
hate the work of them that turn aside; It shall not cleave to
I submit the follow poem that tells it well.
One is well worn but cherished with pride (Not the Bible, but
the TV Guide.)
One is used daily to help folks decide (No! It isn't the
Bible; it's the TV Guide.)

matter, turn on the TV!

Bible, its the TV Guide.)
The Word of God is seldom read; Maybe a verse e'er they fall
Exhausted and sleepy and tired as can be, Not from reading the
Bible, but watching TV.
So, then back to the table, side by side, is the Holy Bible
and the TV Guide.
No time for prayer, no time for the Word; The plan for
salvation is seldom heard.
Forgiveness of sin so full and free and is found in the BIBLE,
not on TV!
