The Bible clearly states that if I "believe on the Lord Jesus Christ" I will be saved. Acts 16:31. I do believe, but I'm not sure I am saved. Can you explain?

 Hebrews 6: 4-6 speaks about people falling away; “For it is impossible...if they shall fall away to renew them again unto repentance seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh.” Do you feel that if we fall away it is impossible to be renewed to repentance?
